TWO!!!

Mikey is two. I can't believe it! Where did the last two years go? I feel like they have just flown by. Mikey's birthday was on the 20th. His actual birthday should have been April 11th but he was in such a hurry to get here he decided he wanted to be a Feb baby. I can't explain Mikey. He is such a blessing and such a joy in our lives. He came out smiling and hasn't stopped. This boy has been a fighter from day one. He had the reputation in the NICU for being the baby that ripped out his feeding tube the most. He knew he was ready to come home. Every time I would walk into that hospital I could hear him sqwaking and I knew it was him. He is such a special boy. I still feel like he is a tiny little baby even though he is two. Mikey is such a happy, calm, loving boy. He always runs up to me and gives me a hug and a kiss just because he wants to. Whenever Chad walks into the room Mikey yells "Hi daddy!" every single time. It's so cute. I'm so greatful for the time I got to spend with him in the hospital because I know it made us so close. I promised him that I would do my best to get him to come home if he would do his part. After being born two months early, he was able to go home after three weeks. He is such a fighter. I feel so blessed to be his mamma. Honestly, he is so special and I love him so much. Happy Birthday Big Mike!!!
One of Mikey's favorite things is the Green eggs and Ham book. He always brings me the book saying "sam a am" so we thought it was totally appropriate to have a green eggs and ham party. The day started with none other than green eggs and ham.

and the cake.......

In attendance: the Gardner clan, and my parentals.

I honestly LOVE these next two pics. You can't have a two year old birthday party where someone else doesn't want to blow out the candles too!!

More Dr.Suess books!!

I love you so much Mikey. Happy Birthday!!

LBP Opening!

Chan and Dax man

Last week we had the opening of Law Bound Prep party at jumping jacks. It was SO fun to have everyone together for some dinner and play time. Chad and Chandler started up a bar preparation company and it is doing well so far! We wanted to have a little get together with some of our friends to celebrate!

Valentines day was pretty fun this year. We got to have Dax with us so it was extra special. We started out the day with pink heart pancakes...yum!!

My dad sends me roses every year. This is a tradition that started way back in middle school. I was sitting in class and they brought around little suckers to kids from other kids in the school. Like a candy gram. Well, one year I got like ten suckers from "my secret admirer" and everyone was green with envy. I later found out it was my dad, and I have gotten a valentine from him ever since. Love you dad!!

Chad on the other hand, thinks cut flowers are a waste of money because they soon die after the occasion. So he has gotten me a potted flower every year since we have been together. This year was calla lilies. And of course, chocolate :)

Sledding in Logan

Last weekend we went to Logan to be with Chad's mom on her B-day. We had so much fun! We spent a lot of the day saturday sledding. They have a huge field in front of their house and it goes downward so if you start sledding at the top it will take you all the way to the bottom. Then someone would come and get you on a snowmobile and you could do it all over again! The kids had a blast. It was sooooo foggy that when you got to the middle of the field you couldn't see anything around you. It was a little eerie but it added to the fun. Then on Monday I went to discovery gateway with my sis-in-laws then out to lunch with sara. We had a wonderful day! As you can see, the kids were pooped!

Mikey wants to be a cop just like grandpa rog. Whenever we go to D.G. he heads right for the cop cars every time

Friday we took Gracie to see Oklahoma. This girl seriously LOVES plays. I'm so excited to share this with her. She is just captivated by the lights and the singing. It's so cute.
