Florida!

A few weeks ago Chad had a conference in Florida. When he showed me the resort it would be at I really wanted to tag along. Then we thought it would be really fun to have the older two come with us. The resort was right on the beach and we just wanted to swim and hang out the whole time. Which is exactly what we ended up doing.  The kids are at such fun ages. I was so glad we brought them.  We missed Owen and Henry terribly but they had so much fun with Grandma while we were away.

On the shuttle from the car to the airport

You never would have known it was their first time flying

Grandma Lydia was nice enough to stock the kids up on airplane snacks

Getting up to speed on the rules and procedures

When we got in, the kids had to go see the ocean

It was terribly humid the whole time we were there. I was so happy that we were able to swim whenever we wanted. The water was so warm and the kids loved it

We would swim in the ocean then when we got tired of that we would head right to the pool

The resort was so fun and kid friendly

Chad and I had the kids take us for a little ride in the paddle boats

The resort had the awesome blow up water slide. It looks cooler than it actually was. We wished it would have gone a little faster.

This boy worked up quite an appetite every day. He pounded ribs and onion rings like you wouldn't believe.

Mikey was chosen for a dance competition at the pirate show!

One day when Chad got done with meetings we took the kids to the aquarium.  There is a disney show about a dolphin that lost it's tail called Winters Tail and this is the aquarium where she lives and the movie was filmed. The kids got a kick out of it and now I guess we better rent the movie!

The sting rays were really friendly and one of them really loved Grace

Mikey wanted to try clams so we let him order some. He hated them.

We went to the zoo before our flight on Saturday. It was hot but the kids had a lot of fun. It made us glad we decided no to do Disney because waiting in line for 20 minutes just about killed the kids
