Cinco

I can't believe we were married 5 years ago. Time is flying by. I can't even really remember life without Chad. This year we went to Park City and spent the night for our 5 year. My mom came up to watch the kids and since we went on a cruise earlier this year we decided not to do gifts. This little getaway was just what we needed. I did awful at taking pics, but here are a few that I did take.

Us in the hotel before calling it a night at 8:45... Lame I know, but we were sleepy!

We ate at an awesome place called the Grub steakhouse. ohhh yummmm...
I got the steak and Crab. This was the BIGGEST crab leg I have ever eaten. One crack an all of the meat came out.
The one shot of our hotel room.
Beware, mushy mushy ahead:

When I say I don't really remember life without Chad, I really mean it. I never thought I could find someone who would treat me so well, and continue to do better every day. I can't even put into words how lucky I feel to have married my best friend. On our way home Chad said "well, we've made it five, what do you say we reevaluate in another five?" I'm greatful that he makes me laugh all of the time. I try not to (so I don't encourage the previous behaviour) but I love that we can laugh at everything. Thank you Chad, I love you soooo Mucho...

Utah County Fair.. .and such..

We are so lucky to live in such a fun town. And so close to the fair grounds! The county fair was here and we decided to walk over and take a look see last night. Chandler and the Gardners came with us so the kid's could maybe ride some rides together. They LOVED it. I remember when the fair used to come to Kanab and I remember thinking it was the greatest thing ever. We had a lot of fun!

Chandler fell in the river. Thank goodness he's okay :)
Uncle Chan took Mike on the carousel. He loved this thing.

Gracie and Dallin rode the cars. They were so excited the whole time

Chad, Chan and Austin

Yesterday Mike climbed up on the table and he was screaming at me to get him down. I'm so rude becuase I just laugh and grab the camera.

Mikey loves to help Chad in the yard. I don't know if the feeling is mutual, but he is a good sport.

Honestly, I can't leave them alone for TWO SECONDS!! (see previous post)

Bridge over muddy water....

I love when Gracie and Mike play nice. Words can't express how happy it makes me. So I was half happy when I walked outside and found this....

(side note: my pictures are backwards, so the events look like they are taking place backwards)

Gardner Reunion

Oh heavens where to start. Last week we were able to go to Boulder Ut for Chad's family reunion and his Grandpa Gardner's 80th birthday. There are nine kid's in his mom's family so it was quite a good turn out! The kid's had SOO much fun playing in the dirt and running all around. It was so nice to visit with family that we don't get to see very often. Then on tuesday Traci and I met in SLC for some Zoo and Discovery Gateway fun. The kids loved it. I wish I would have gotten more pictures! Then on wednesday one of my bestest friends in the whole world finally came to Utah since moving back to California last year. Her husband and Chad went to law school together. Robin honestly got me through law school. I don't know what I would have done without her. I remember going to their house for dinner when Gracie was like two weeks old. Amazing how fast time goes by. They have a little boy named Diego who is exactly one week younger than Mike. Overall, it was a pretty fun week!!
