Summmaaatyyyme

It's finally getting warmer, I thought the day would never come! The days are getting longer and we have to find more things to keep us entertained. I'm not complaining, my kids get the best sleep of their lives during the summer. We've had so much fun swimming, running through sprinklers, eating snow-cones, and playing at the park. I don't have big events to document, but sometimes these updates are best. It helps remind me that THIS IS MY LIFE.. this is what keeps it full and busy. And I love it.

I made a carseat cover for one of my friends who is having a girl in July.. I think it turned out all right? What do you think...

Gracie and her friend Lincoln (he is getting the baby sister in July)

We have BABY BIRDS in our closet. We have a door in our closet that opens up to where the breakers are, and there is a hole where the roof is, so every spring we get baby birds. The kids love looking at them, but I don't so much enjoy the 5 a.m. Wake up calls.

Chad's sister and her four kids came to visit the other day. It was so nice to have company on a regular summer day

Seriously... so cute!

Look at her eyes... Do you think we should invest in goggles?

Around the world in 80 days

I seriously love summer. I love the weather and the busy schedule. This last week we traveled around like crazy! Friday night Gracie had a dance recital. She did SO good! I was so proud of her. She was the cutest one up there ;) Then right after that we headed to Logan to visit Chad's parents. It was really fun to visit and I learned a few things on the sewing machine from my mom-in-law. We came home for church on sunday then early Monday morning we headed to Holden to visit Chad's grandparents. Right after that we went to Fillmore to visit Chad's sister then on to Boulder to visit the other set of Grandparents. There was a lot of time spent in the car but the kids did so good! I snapped some pictures and I was due for an update so here they are!

mmmm.. marshmallows. It wasn't cold, I just had the bundled because they just got out of the bath and I didn't want them smelling like smoke! I know you parents can relate.

Gracie and Great Grandpa Staheli. She is showing him her medal she got from her recital.
