Fun Summer Week!!!

I have always thought that nothing can beat Kanab summers. Well, Spanish Fork is a close second. I am loving this summer so much so far. The weather isn't too hot (yet) and the pools are nice and warm. This weekend was a fun one. We got a call from Chad's mom on Thursdy and she asked if we could go up and help them with some work on their orchard. Taylor and I had just gotten finished taking our kiddies swimming and the inlaws have tonz of land so we decided to go up and help. When we got up there his parents showed us some little pigs that we get the meat from so we let Gracie go pick out her piggie (don't worry, I'm not going to tell her we are going to eat it!) She loved helping Grandpa S feed and take care of them. Chad was mowing the lawn and Grace couldn't wait to go help him mow. Then we found her playing in the mud room with the dogs, there was so much for a little two year old to do!! We got home right before church so we were able to go to our ward, then we had some dutchoven with our WONDERFUL neighbors Taylor and Austin Gardner. We had potatoes and peach cobler. As I took a look around I thought, there is nothing better then great food, great friends , healthy kids, and a wonderful place to live in. Love love love the summer time..

FLORIDIZZZLE

Yay! So here is my much needed post. Last week Chad had a work conference in Florida for 5 days so we decided to make it a family vacation. I had to make the tough decision to leave little Mikey even tho he is only four months old. I missed him so much but lets be honest, what kind of a vacation would it be lugging his carseat and stroller around? Anyways, we left tuesday morning and didn't get back until saturday. We took Chads little sister along so she could babysit Gracie while we went to Chad's work dinners and such. I was SO glad she could go. What a lifesaver! There are like 800 parks around so we decided to do Disney World, Epcot, and one other, I don't remember the name. Our hotel was on the park so they let us stay 2 hours after they closed the park so that really helped on the lines! We went to Cocoa beach for a few hours and that was a lot of fun. I cannot believe the Florida humidity. I didn't even try to get ready while I was there because my makeup would melt off an hour later. It managed to rain every time we went to a park. I was happy tho because it cooled down about 10 degrees when it started raining. Anyways, we are back home now and it's back to the daily grind!!

Chad LOVES the mary-go-round

Bekah really DID love it!

Me TOO!!!

Gracie TOO!!!

One of the nights we went to Chad's work dinners and it was in the VIP room above the finding nemo ride. The walls were glass looking into this amazing tank with sharks and sting rays and sea turtles. It was so cool.

The kids joined us for dessert and this is Gracie and I in front of the tank. You can't see it tho.

You can kind of see it here

Our passes to get into Disney world didn't start until 2:00 so we swam a TON.

Gracie was worn out. We made her a little bed on the couch

Our hotel on the Boardwalk

She was SUCH a good girl. The flight was almost 8 hours straight on a plane and she didn't cry once

Real quick.....

FYI... The weekend might be the weekend the book comes out.. I've gotten some feedback on how we should all go get the book at midnight!! Lemme know!

~ATTENTION TWILIGHTERS~

Hello my dearest buddies!! Well I don't know about any of you twilight fans, but I am SO stoked for the fourth book. I just started reading the 3 books again so I can have the story fresh in my memory.. jeez i'm such a nerdy poo. Anyways, I thought I would organize a little get together for those of you who are as nerdy as I am. Okay here it is..... SO the book comes out on August 2nd which is a saturday. So I was thinking that we could all get our books on our own then the next weekend, the 9th, meet in St. George and have a little read-a-thon by the pool. I thought we could get a room, or rooms, depending on how many wanted to go, and we could spend friday and saturday just hanging out and having a girls weekend. I am in desperate need of a break and the hubby is supporting me all the way. It might just be me and lex if no one else wants to go but we will have a get together none the less!! If you can buy the book and keep it closed for a week that would be awesome, but it's cool if you want a little head start ;) let me know as soon as you can so I can start looking at room prices. The more people the less expensive it will be!!! Peace out twilighters!! GO TEAM JACOB!!!!

TIIIMMMBBBEEEERRRRR!!!!

What a fun and busy day! This morning was same ole same ole, then we decided to go to the timber competition at thanksgiving point. It was the super hugmo one that they broadcast on ESPN. They won't put this one on until November but it was so fun to go and watch. We went with our neighbors Taylor and Austin and their little boy Dallin. When we got there it was so smokin hot but the weather turned in the blink of an eye and it was FREEZING. We had so much fun. Since we were as far as the point I decided to save some gas and run up to IKEA instead of taking a trip some other time, and I bought Gracie's new bedroom set. I have done her room in butterflies since she was born and I have never really thought Gracie was much of a "butterfly " gal. She just isn't that girly!! So I have wanted to change it FOREVER and when we moved into this house I didn't put any effort into decorating it. So I found a set that I thought fit her just right and I put it all together tonight. It was a lot of fun. I am still going to paint and do some fun things with the walls but this is what I started with! I have been putting off my relief society lesson for a few weeks and now I am bloggging while I take a break from writing. Sorry If this doesn't make much sense and I know the pictures are way out of order. Anyone know how to edit pics once you have posted them?? Hmmmmm....... lemme know. Peace out suckas..

The wildlife preserve people were there and they had an injured bald eagle. Those things are massively beautiful

Pet adoptions were also there. Gracie wants a kitty. I however do not. The only thing cats are good for are for the cat graves in K town. (sorry sara)

Look, she's already itching her eyes. Oh man.
