Henry Hunter Staheli

He's here! I always have the best intentions of updating my blog but life happens and I rarely do.  This was a post worth having. Our fourth little babe was born on November 21st around 4 pm weighing in at 6 lbs 5 oz.  After going into labor around 33 weeks the doctor told me he would have to admit me into the hospital or give my word that I would be on strict bed rest at home. We chose to go home.  My mom was so sweet to come right up as soon as we needed her.  I was given a steroid shot to advance baby's lungs in case he was early.  I did my best on bed rest for 10 days then I was able to start moving around a little more. My mom headed home on the 20th and thats when Linda headed down. We are so lucky to have moms that will come whenever we need them no questions asked.  I woke up with pretty bad pains and around 8:00 I decided we should head in. I had been dilated to a 5 for two weeks so the doctor said I needed to stay and we would get things going. I was at 37 weeks and they were confident the baby would be healthy at that point. It wasn't long before I was at a ten and ready to go. One and a half pushes later the baby was here! The pregnancy was such a nightmare but the birth was heaven. I am pretty lucky to have had four wonderful deliveries.  Chad and I had a few names narrowed down and I chose one that we hadn't even really discussed. I was looking at the baby and the whole time I just thought " he is a Henry"  it seemed to fit him just right. We are so glad he is here and healthy!  Adjusting to 4 is quite an ordeal but I am loving it so much. This little boy is such a sweet addition to the family. Welcome to the family Henry!

Getting sugar water while he was getting snipped. He didn't cry at all!

Halloween

I can't believe Halloween is over already! October was such a blur and It feels like Halloween should be right around the corner instead of two weeks ago.  The Saturday before Halloween Chad and I got invited to a Halloween party from a lady in our ward and it ended up being a lot of fun. We won an award for our costumes! I was really glad that we were able to go to that party because the day before Halloween I got put on strict bedrest. This baby is wanting to make his debut way earlier than he should.  I spent Halloween on the couch but Chad and my mom did an excellent job of holding down the fort so the kids really enjoyed it and didn't even realize I was out of commission. The kids don't get to celebrate Halloween at school so they have a "history fair" instead. They still get to dress up, there are just rules and guidelines.  We still had a good holiday and I'm glad its closer to Thanksgiving!

We were Mayhem and Flo from the insurance commercials.

October Fun

It feels like October went by incredibly fast this year. I love October so much and I don't feel like I even really got to enjoy it much. The leaves turned far to quickly and now there are only a few yellow leaves holding on for dear life. We have enjoyed the weather so much.  We are slowly getting into our routine of school and homework and I'm sure as soon as we find a good groove the baby will be born and we will have to re-learn a new routine all over again. For now we are just enjoying life until the snow hits.

Chad took Grace and Mikey on a small hike up the canyon. The trees were amazing.

Waffles for dinner!

Owen and I got to go with Mikey on a field trip to the pumpkin patch. We had a lot of time to kill before we went to the school so Owen got a little spoiled.

We took a quick trip to Logan to visit Grandma and Grandpa. We always love the fall in Logan.
