Fiesta Days

I know I said this last year on my blog, but I honestly LOVE the 24th of July in Spanish Fork. The town is so much fun. There is always plenty to do on the week of the 24th. This year, I knew what was coming so I was able to enjoy it a lot more. We have a big driveway and we are less than a block away from the fair grounds, so I decided to charge people 5 bucks to park on our lot. I made some pretty good money for the week! Here is a re-cap! Sorry my pics are awful, my battery kept dying so I would have to take them out, switch them around, put them back in, and snap a pic....

A crazy weeks worth..

Jeezz.. Summer is a crazy time! I love it so much but I never feel like I can relax. There is always clothes to wash, house to clean, places to take the kids... Ahh it never ends. But I'm not complaining. I love it. We took two camping trips last week, and they were both SO much fun. On tuesday, we went with our friends the Bucks up Payson canyon. When we had only been there about 5 min, Gracie got stung by a wasp and she was put out for the rest of the night. Poor girl! I only got a few pics from that trip because my batteries died on the camera. Then on Friday we went up to Wyoming to camp with a few of Chad's brothers and their families. We have 7 kids combined and it was pure chaos. Mikey had a really hard night, but after we finally got him down, we slept really well! We love getting together with them because the kids just play and play until they are so worn out. I can't wait to camp again. I love it!

There was a really cute half-log cabin at our camp site, and the kid's had a ball playing in it

These three are so cute. We always try and get a good one of all of them and it is SO hard to do. I think these turned out pretty cute! They are all a few months apart

I had to throw these on. I took them a couple of weeks ago. Chandler's boy Dax is a month younger than Mike. They are so cute together!

Why I love summer

There is nothing like the summer days to wear out your kids. This was after a long swim. Poor sleepy boy.

Oh say can you see

The fourth was awesome this year. Chad one of the conditions Chad had to agree to was that we had to be in Kanab for every fourth of July. I love this time of year. I love the summer air, the heat, the fireworks, the food, and of course all of the old friends I get to see when I go home. We started out on thursday with Anna's third birthday. Her birthday was actually on Friday but Lex and Clayton had her birthday party on Thursday. We went to the park and had cake and ice cream then we went to the pool for some swim time. It was lot's of fun and my little fishy's LOVED it. Then on Friday we had the third annual Cutler Classic golf tournament. It is always soo soo funny and we have a blast. This year was pretty sad because Casey and her kid's weren't there but we still had a ball. Chandler and my dad ended up winning us by TWO strokes. Chad was pretty upset but we'll take it next year I'm sure ;) then on Saturday we woke up to an awesome breakfast compliments of the sarg. We headed to the parade for some fun and candy, then we just spent the day visiting with old friends. At night, my kids couldn't figure out the fireworks. Well, Mike more than Grace.... But he loved them and loved to watch them blow up. We had an awesome weekend but now I guess it's back to the daily grind!

cute little cousin gals. The only way we could get them to smile is when we said "this one is for Chloe!"

The whole crew after the classic.

The classic had one casualty this year....

Chan was off getting his ball and there was a random bird taking flight, on a split decision he grabbed his ball and threw it at the bird, he nailed it and it died on the spot. We were amazed but it was pretty awesome. And a little sad. Rest in peace dear bird.
