My Kiddies

Well.. I can't believe it. Little Mikey is one month old today. A few day s ago we had our good friend Sara Boulter come and take some pictures of our kids in the new house. Honestly we are so lucky to have a friend with such a talent to catch the beauty in our children that we see everyday. I can't believe how lucky we are that both of our kids are healthy and happy. Everything is going really well. Grace is having a hard time adjusting to "baby brother" but she is such a help. Mikey is almost 6 lbs and doing SO well. As for Chad and I, well, we are just trying to get used to the idea of having TWO kids. Crazy. We are closing on our house tomorrow and now we just have to rent out the place we are in for the next 6 months. It is a little stressful thinking that we might be paying on two places but i'm sure it will work out. I just want to say thank you again to all of our friends for your prayers and comments with the baby. I love you all so much!! Anyways, that is what is new with the Staheli's and hopefully after we get things figured out with the house I can start posting every week instead of every 3!!!

COMING HOME!!!

Hello everyone!!! Guess what?? Little Mikey gets to come home today! I spent the night at the hospital last night getting up to feed him every time he woke up and they said if things progress well he could be going home in the next couple days. But all day yesterday and all last night he ate well and did well off of the machines so they are sending us home! I can't believe it. We are so blessed to have a baby with such a fighting spirit. He will be 3 weeks old on wednesday, it has gone by so fast. The doctors are sending him home on a machine that will monitor his breathing and heart rate but he only has to be wearing it when he is sleeping. Stay tuned and I will get some pictures posted of our "going home" when I get the chance. I am at the hospital right now counting down the time until 3:00!!

Mikey two weeks old!!

I thought that I would hurry and post the latest pictures of the baby. He is doing sooo good. They do test weights before and after I feed him to see how much he is getting enough and he has been doing great so far!! I go to feed him twice a day and hopefully they will move it up to three times a day soon. We are finally able to put some clothes on him although it doesn't do any good because he is drowning in everything we put on him! Thank you all SO much for your comments and support. I know your prayers are working! I am doing just fine and we are so excited to get him home. I will get back to all of you when I find the time!! Thanks again everyone!
