Powell 2014

This summer we got invited to spend a week out on Lake Powell with Bubba's family.  We have gone and done this several times but we have never stayed for an entire week. We were a little nervous going out with a baby and a toddler who couldn't swim but it ended up being SO fun. The kids had a blast and we made some unforgettable memories.

On our way down we had to stop in Kanab to drop a few things off so we met my family at Stage Stop.

Loading up the night we got there

Grace, Laken and Mikey on the tube. Mikey was a little afraid at first.

The sunrise was amazing the morning we pulled the boat out

El Capitan

Evenings were spent playing settlers of Cataan

Grace was awesome this year! She was so brave doing tricks cliff diving

One day while we were having lunch we noticed the speed boat floating away. Luckily Bubba was quick on his feet and got to it before it went too far.

We took several rides up some awesome canyons. I almost didn't want to take pictures because they don't do this place any justice. I'm so glad we could show the kids what an awesome beautiful place Powell is.

We went to the marina around day five to get gas and ice. There were some awesome big fish waiting to be fed.

After so many days in the hot sun, Ice cream was a welcome treat.

We were in the water so much we just let the young boys go naked a lot.

Gracie got up on the ski's! She has a go pro on her chest so we got some awesome video as well. We were so proud of her!

Sand sculptures

The kids are so lucky to have Uncle Bubba. He let Grace and Mike drive the boat. They wouldn't get this experience if it weren't for the sweet Andrus'.

This trip was so fun. It was so fun to disconnect from the world and just focus on our family. We had such a good time and we look forward to when we can do it again!
