Easter Weekend

Easter weekend turned out to be so fun. Our kids had spring break the week before and I felt like I sort of dropped the ball. I wanted to do something fun for them but we ended up doing nothing. So we threw the kids in the car and took them fishing on Saturday. It was so so windy but we had a lot of fun.  When I was growing up, some of my best memories were of Easter. All of my cousins and aunts and uncles would get together with trailers and tents and have a huge picnic lunch and Easter egg hunt. We always had so much fun with our cousins.  Sunday morning my dad would send us on an easter egg hunt all over the yard and it always led back to our baskets with new clothes in it. The older we got the bigger the hunt got. We had to go to gas stations and sing a song to get our next clue. It was so much fun and I am so grateful my dad made time to give us that memory.  This year I was bound and determined to make some sort of memory for our kids for Easter. Our families were both pretty busy with their own stuff so Chad and I took the kids up Payson canyon and had a little picnic. It was short but so fun. Then we came back and took them to a movie and loaded them up on junk. Sunday after church we headed to Russ and Traci's house for dinner and a little hunt with the kids. It turned out to be the perfect weekend. Time with cousins and time with family. What more could we ask for!!

My tuckered boys

O fishing

Im glad Mikey is tough, I was so grossed out putting the worms on the hook so he took care of it for me.

We love our Kanab hoodies

This little boy is the sweetest. He loves his swing and just hangs out in it all of the time.

Uncle Trav would be proud

Elk Ridge put on an awesome Easter egg hunt. The kids scored big time!! And the view wasn't too bad either.

Our family lunch in the hills

Mikey gets to use his knife whenever we are up in the hills or camping. He looks so forward to it and loves carving sticks with his dad.

We have started this boy on baby food. He loves it so far.

My orchids Chad got me. one from last year and one from this year. they are doing amazing and I love them so much.

We love Uncle Russ's and Aunt Traci's yard!

We got to tour the new honey butter factory. It was such a cool set up and the kids loved seeing all of the fun things. Especially the hair and facial nets :)

Grandma and Grandpa Staheli sent us supplies to make Easter suckers. the kids had more fun eating the chocolate than making the suckers.
